Our whole fireplace project has been a disaster. Unqualified people installing it, our house had a major gas leak and when we called to say something they didnt believe us. Our whole house could have blown up and they didnt care. Sales staff very unsympathetic and arrogant when asking why something doesnt seem right. Our fireplace is so cold and drafty it has been unusable all year, we keep blankets stuffed in front of it all the time.
Just wanted to Thank Becky and the Team it took to plan, design, and engineer our basement granite. Couldn't be happier with how it turned out!
Darboy Stone and Brick does good work. We are very happy with the fireplace insert they retrofitted into our existing wood-burning fireplace. Having said that, Darboy Stone and Brick can be inconsistent in communications. Be proactive in communicating with them to set appointments and in confirming them. For the appointment to measure our fireplace, the technician was two hours early (I was home, so it didn't matter). To complete the ordering process, we had a to re-communicate some information they probably should have known. For the install, we did not receive a call indicating what time (on the day we agreed) they would arrive. These issues weren't big deals, but a little more focus on communications by them would have made the experience better for us.
The process from start to finish was perfect for our new home. We bought granite for our kitchen, a remnant for our master, and brick for our fireplace and everything is simply beautiful. Best customer service in the Valley!
I am replacing the broken brickwork on my 90-year-old house's back steps; so I stopped in to see if they could match the color even if they couldn't match the exact size. And, they have enough bricks for me to complete my project and at a reasonable price! They were extremely helpful!!
