The food quality is very comparable to McDonald's on the account that it's cheap fast food with pretty fast service. However, they have a lot of options. Are you hungry for a fish sandwich? You can choose between a haddock or cod fillet! There's also a fair number of burger options, they have hot dogs, chicken strips, and more. The burgers are delicious, and the chicken strips are better than McDonald's Chicken McNuggets, but not as impressive as their Buttermilk Tenders.For sides, they have a LOT of options: fries, fried cauliflower, mozzarella sticks, fried cheese curds, and some of the best onion rings in town! I may even be missing a few!Desserts, you can have: a regular milkshake or a malt. ice cream cones, a sundae, slushies, or maybe something else.There is, however, one complaint that I have, and that is this place can get REALLY stingy with their condiments. I literally once ordered a fish sandwich with EXTRA tartar sauce (because I know that they're really cheap with it here) and I bring it home, and the sandwich still just has a DOT of sauce! Still, it's a nice place to go for some cheap food.
Food cheap. Hot and the food quality is great. First time here definitely coming back. The owner JD is there everyday. Very nice and respectful gentlemen.
Amazing mom and pop restaurant. Not many left like this one so if you get the chance stop by. JD is all about making the customer happy and he expects the same from everyone that he employs. Old school values all day long.
When choosing my order, I asked what's on a JD Burger. Cashier had no idea and had to ask management what toppings are on the JD Burger, which is their signature burger. It's like going to McDonald's and the server doesn't know what's on a Big Mac.Service and food not very good. Double Cheese Double Burger was practically cold and there was hardly any ketchup on it. Fortunately I could get that on my own.However, my father had to wait a long time for more mustard for his regular burger because they hardly put any on and don't even any available near the ketchup.While others might give the place 1 star, I remember another place far worse, so that's why they get the extra star.
