This is a school for higher learning, based on all of your grammar you make it look like garbage.

The teachers and staff are wonderful, and my children love going to school here!

I love this school! Odyssey is the BEST!

The school needs less supervisors, and sometimes the supervisors label some kids who have done some wrong things in the past as troublemakers, and it is not very cool to do that. For example, a perfect kid does something wrong, and a supervisor, without actually seeing what happened, goes over and confronts him, and there just happened to be one of the labeled kids nearby, and the perfect kid tells the supervisor that the labeled kid did it, and 98% of the time, the supervisor believes the perfect kid. That is pretty much the main problem, but all in all, Highlands elementary school is fun.

Well here is my take. I think that there is not enough supervision of the kids. My son constantly complained that kids were hitting him and he'd tell the teachers and not much would happen. I brought up the topic with his teachers and they claimed it was boys just playing rough. I don't know...it would seem they should have had a better handle on that.Almost everyday, my son would come home with a ton of homework, which I found ridiculous. I mean.....what are these teachers getting paid for if they have the parents doing all of this homework?? In Kindergarten?? This is outrageous. The other thing is that my son would lose his gloves or hat almost once a week and I don't know why it was so hard to get these kids on the bus with all their apparel. My son's teacher was ok, but I would catch some expressions on her sometimes....like eye rolling, etc. I don't know.....that's not that professional. The office is another story, they don't seem to have it together. On more than one occasion they failed to give me the proper paperwork and I ended up getting charged for lunches because of it. There seems to be a real moral problem around that school too. I just didn't get a good vibe at all, and felt the teachers want the parents to do all the work. Not a good experience.
